Setting up
What is the LAP Coffee App and where can I get it?
The LAP Coffee App allows customers to pre-order coffee, collect stamps, unlock rewards and send coffee to friends. It's free to download from the App Store / Google Play. You can place orders without creating an account. To collect stamps and access all features, you'll need to sign up with your phone number.
I already use the LAP Wallet — do I need the app?
The Wallet still works as it always has. The app comes with cool new features on top - pre-order to skip the queue, redeem stamps for new things like food and merch, and send a coffee to a friend. When signing up, simply use the email address associated with your wallet. Your stamps move over automatically.
How do I transfer my Wallet stamps?
Download the app and sign up with the same email you used for the Wallet. Your stamps move over automatically the moment you sign up. Until then, your stamps stay safely in the Wallet.
Ordering
How do I place an order?
Open the app, choose a store, pick your drink and food, and pay. The app will show you when your order will be ready - just head over to pick it up.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Once an order is placed in the app, it can't be changed at the counter - we'll already be preparing it. If you experience a bug or something is wrong, please reach out by clicking on Profile → Contact Us and we'll help.
Pickup
Where and when do I pick up my order?
In the regular pickup area in the store at the designated "APP" spot. Look for the cup with your name on the sticker.
Will I be notified when my drink is ready?
The app shows the estimated preparation time after placing the order and indicates when the drink can be picked up in-store. You will also receive a push notification once your order is ready for pickup.
Stamps & rewards
How do I earn stamps and what can I redeem them for?
You earn one stamp for every drink you order in the app - same as in the Wallet. With the app, you can redeem stamps for:
- Espresso: 3 stamps
- Americano: 4 stamps
- Cappuccino: 5 stamps
- Any drink: 6 stamps
- Croissant: 10 stamps
- LAP cap: 50 stamps
Food and merch rewards are new - the Wallet only offered drink rewards. Your transferred Wallet stamps have the same value as new ones.
Where do I collect a redeemed reward like the LAP cap?
Pickup available at selected LAP stores only: Berlin (Akazienstraße 3A, Oderberger Str. 53, Warschauer Str. 81), Cologne (Limburger Str. 2A), Munich (Pariser Str. 38) & Hamburg (Gerhofstraße 32).
Payment & refunds
How do I pay and what payment methods are accepted?
Orders are paid directly in the app. Users can either pay directly at checkout or top up their LAP card in advance and use it for future purchases. Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit/debit cards, and PayPal.
I was charged but my order didn't come through — what now?
Please reach out via the app: Profile → Contact Us. Tell us when the order happened and we'll sort it out. Refunds are processed in the app, not in store.
How do I get a refund?
All refunds for a missing order, an out-of-stock item, or anything else - are handled through in-app Support: Profile → Contact Us. Refunds are processed by a dedicated team, not in store.
Account
I can't log in — what do I do?
Please contact our support team here and we'll help you as quickly as possible.
How do I update my email or delete my account?
You can update your email in the app: Profile → Email Address. To delete your account, go to Profile → Delete Account.
The app is crashing or behaving strangely — what should I do?
First, make sure you're on the latest version (check the App Store or Google Play). If the problem continues, close the app and reopen it. Still not working? Let us know via Profile → Settings → Contact Us - tell us your device and what happened - and we'll look into it.
